                               ALUMNI CARD RULES
                                                2011

RULE 1
ELIGIBILITY - A past IFCA member, who has 5 years of verifiable participation at the IFCA Finals, qualifies for an Alumni Card.

1(A) The former dependent of a qualified (as stated above) IFCA member/past member will be eligible for an Alumni Card based on their family’s prior membership/participation.

1(B)   Eligibility must be verified in writing (how eligible, how/who verified participation).

RULE 2
NOMINATION - A verified application shall be submitted to the Board of Directors by a Regional Director, and kept on file.

2(A) There will be a 1 year grace period, after dependent eligibility expires, to be nominated for an Alumni Card.

2(B) Those past members/former dependents, as of November 1, 2009, who qualify for an Alumni Card as stated in Rule 1 will be eligible to apply and receive an Alumni Card until January 1, 2011.

2(C) There will be no cap on the number of members who may be approved to receive an Alumni Card in a single year.

RULE 3
MEMBERSHIP - Spouses and dependents of an Alumni Card holder will be eligible to participate in IFCA events as long as they remain an eligible spouse/dependent of an active Alumni Card holder. (See IFCA Rules defining dependent eligibility)

3(A) To continue in good standing with the IFCA, a $40.00 Annual Membership Fee will be due each year from all Alumni Card holders. If the Annual Membership Fee is not paid for the year, the Alumni Card holder and any dependents participating under that card become ineligible until the Alumni Card is again considered active. To return to an active status, ALL missed Annual Membership Fee(s) must be paid.
·Any Alumni Card holder who is inactive (dues not paid) for 3 (three) consecutive years will lose all Alumni Card privileges and WILL NOT be eligible to re-apply for an Alumni Card.

3(C) An Annual Membership Fee of $40.00 is due from all participating dependents of Alumni Card holders before they participate in IFCA events.

RULE 4
PARTICIPATION - Once an Alumni Card has been presented, the Alumni Card holder and his/her participating dependents become subject to ALL IFCA Rules as stated in the International Feedlot Cowboy Rules. Alumni Card members will receive a copy of Alumni Card Rules and a copy of IFCA Rules once they are approved.

4(A) Alumni Card members and spouse/dependents must participate in the Regional Qualifier in the region in which they reside to be eligible for the IFCA Finals.

4(B) Alumni Card members and spouse/dependents are subject to Regional dues assessed by the Region in which they participate.

4(C) An Alumni Card member, who wishes to participate in a region other than the region where they reside, must declare (in writing, submitted to the Director(s) of both regions) by February 1 each year, the region they wish to rope in. The declaration must be kept on file for the year it covers.
